AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
1. READ OPERATOR'S MANUAL
2. KEEP HANDS AWAY FROM WEDGE, END PLATE, PARTLY SPLIT WOOD AND MOVING PARTS.
3. HOLD LOG ON ITS SIDES NOT ON ENDS.
4. ONLY ONE OPERATOR PERMITTED. ADULT WHO LOADS AND HOLDS LOG MUST BE THE ONE WHO OPERATES
CONTROL HANDLE. KEEP BYSTANDERS,HELPERS AND CHILDREN AT LEAST 10 FEET AWAY.
5. HIGH PRESSURE FLUID CAN ESCAPE THROUGH A PIN HOLE LEAK AND CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY BY PUNCTURING
THE SKIN AND CAUSING BLOOD POISONING.
6. NEVER CHECK FOR LEAKS WITH YOUR HANDS.
7. OPERATE THE LOG SPLITTER ON LEVEL SURFACE.
8. LOCK IT IN VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL POSITION.
9. WEAR PROTECTIVE WORK GLOVES, SAFETY SHOES AND SAFETY GLASSES, WATCH YOUR FOOTING.
10. NEVER OPERATE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
11. DO NOT REFUEL A HOT OR RUNNING ENGINE.
WARNING -
TO AVOID INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE
MOVING LOG SPLITTER BY HAND:
• Lock beam in horizontal position.
• Lock jack stand in down position.
• Do not attempt to move log splitter
up or down a slope by hand
TOWING LOG SPLITTER:
• Lock beam in horizontal position.
• Attach coupler to Class I or higher
hitch with 1-7/8" ball. Latch securely.
• If coupler adjustment is needed,
refer to owner's manual.
• Raise jack stand and latch securely
in full up position.
• Attach safety chains to tow vehicle.
• Do not tow faster than 45 mph.
High speed may cause loss of control.
• Check local, state and federal
requirements before towing on any
public road.
