Rinse aid level setting
You can change the amount of rinse aid applied during a cycle.
1. Press the Delay Start button to select the rinse aid level setting menu.
- The display shows the current setting. (Default setting: “F4”)
2. Press the AUTO (DW60CG5**B****/DW60CG5**I**** model) or Program (DW60CG5**F****/
DW60CG5**U****/DW60CG5**S**** model) cycle button to change the setting.
- You can select from F1 - F5 (minimum – maximum).
3. Wait 5 seconds to save the setting.
Water hardness level setting
You can change the water hardness level according to water hardness in your local area.
Changing this setting will have effect on the salt consumption in the dishwasher’s salt
storage.
1. Press the Self Clean (DW60CG5**B****/DW60CG5**I**** model) or Sanitize
(DW60CG5**F****/DW60CG5**U****/DW60CG5**S**** model) button to select the water
hardness level setting menu.
- The display shows the current setting. (Default setting: “H3”)
2. Press the AUTO (DW60CG5**B****/DW60CG5**I**** model) or Program (DW60CG5**F****/
DW60CG5**U****/DW60CG5**S**** model) cycle button to change the setting.
- You can select from H1 – H6 (soft – hard).
3. Wait 5 seconds to save the setting.
NOTE
Change the setting according to the table in the “Adjusting salt consumption” section on
page 59.
Default Setting: H3
The dishwasher regenerates the water softener once every 3–4 cycles depending on the
setting. However, the dishwasher will regenerate the water softener on the rst cycle
after you change the setting.
Regeneration will be operated in dry phase with an additional 2.0–2.5 l of water being
used and 4–10 minutes taken for the cycle.
The energy used may be increased however this should be by an insignicant amount.
