Loose food remnants, fat and meat juices may catch
fire.
▶ Before using the appliance, remove the worst of the
food residues and remnants from the cooking com-
partment, heating elements and accessories.

dish cloth.

Cleaning the Twist Pad Flex control
To thoroughly clean the control element Twist Pad Flex,
you can dismantle it into 2 parts.
WARNING‒Danger: Magnetism!
Caution: Magnetism
Caution for people with pacemakers
Permanent magnets are used in the control panel and
in the control elements. These may impair the function-
ality of electronic implants, e.g. pacemakers or insulin
pumps.
▶ Persons with electronic implants must stand at least
10cm away from the control panel and the mag-
netic controls.
▶ Never put the control in your pockets.
WARNING‒Risk of injury!
Children and adults may be injured by the falling con-
trol Twist Pad Flex.
▶ Remove the control element Twist Pad Flex before
cleaning.
▶ Only place the control Twist Pad Flex at one of the
specified positions on the control panel.
ATTENTION!
This may damage the control element Twist Pad Flex.
▶ Do not use abrasive or corrosive products, such as
citric acid, vinegar, aggressive cleaning agents or
glass ceramic cleaners.
▶ Do not use stainless steel care products.
▶ Never clean it in the dishwasher.
▶ Never immerse it inwater.
▶ Clean the control element Twist Pad Flex using a
soft cloth moistened with soapy water.

Press
on the edge of the stator on the rear of
the control element Twist Pad Flex and remove the
stator .
2.
Clean all of the parts with a cloth moistened with
soapy water.
3.
Dry all of the parts with a soft cloth.
4.
Before assembling, leave all of the parts to dry com-
pletely.
5.
Reassemble the control element Twist Pad Flex.
Regenerating self-cleaning surfaces in the
cooking compartment
The back panel, ceiling and side walls in the cooking
compartment are self-cleaning and have a coarse sur-
face.
ATTENTION!
If you do not clean the self-cleaning surfaces regularly,
they may become damaged.
▶ If dark stains are visible on the self-cleaning sur-
faces, use the cleaning function to clean the cook-
ing compartment.
▶ If a prompt to clean appears in the display, use the
cleaning function to clean the cooking compart-
ment.
▶ Do not use oven cleaner or abrasive cleaning aids.
If oven cleaner accidentally comes into contact with
the self-cleaning surfaces, dab it off immediately us-
ing water and a sponge cloth. Do not rub.

Use the cleaning function "Eco Clean"
regularly to
help retain the cleaning ability of the self-cleaning sur-
faces and prevent damage.
The self-cleaning surfaces in the cooking compartment
are coated with a porous, matt ceramic layer and have
a rough surface. When the appliance is in operation,
the self-cleaning surfaces absorb splashes from roast-
ing or grilling and break them down.
The following surfaces are self-cleaning:
