IMPORTANT:
When installing into an existing sleeve, consult Installation Section of your Installation/Operation Manual to determine whether or not the grille needs to be
replaced and/or a baffle adapter (included with chassis) should be used.

If your current wall sleeve is in good condition you may be able to keep it. Uni-Fit
®
can
be installed directly into many competitor’s existing wall sleeves. The included decorative
trim ring (shown in the photo below) will cover any gap between the chassis and wall
sleeve.
NOTE: Chassis requires USC sleeve for new installations (sold and shipped separately).
IMPORTANT
1” gap on sides and 1/2” gap at top allows
installation into varying sleeve sizes.
The gap can be covered by the decorative
trim ring that fits over the chassis front.
Trim ring comes standard with chassis.

An existing or new sleeve is required for installation. The Friedrich USC sleeve
ships with the accessories needed for installation in new construction, or installa-
tion into an existing sleeve.
