-ControlseveralPTZcameraswithseveralradars.ThePTZcamerawilltrackobjectsintheordertheyareplaced
inthecontrolqueue.
-ControlonePTZcamerawithoneradarwhentheyaremountedindifferentpositionscoveringthesamearea.
Note
UseanNTPservertosynchronizethetimeonthecamerasandtheWindowscomputer.Iftheclocksareoutofsynch,you
mayexperiencedelaysinthetracking,orghosttracking.
Howtominimizefalsealarms
Ifyounoticethatyougettoomanyfalsealarms,youcanlteroutcertaintypesofmovementorobjects,changethecoverage,or
adjustthedetectionsensitivity.Testwhichsettingsworkbestforyourenvironment.
•AdjustthedetectionsensitivityofAXISObjectAnalytics:
GotoSettings>Apps>AXISObjectAnalytics,openascenario,andselectalowerDetectionsensitivity.
-Lowsensitivity:Requiresboththeradarandthecameratodetecttheobject.Reducedriskoffalsealarms,
butincreasedriskofmisseddetections.
-Automatic:Letstheapplicationdecideifbothradarandcameraoronlyoneofthemisrequiredtodetect
theobject.
-Highsensitivity:Requireseithertheradarorthecameratodetecttheobject.Increasedriskoffalsealarmsbut
reducedriskofmisseddetections.
•Adjustthedetectionsensitivityoftheradar:
GotoSettings>Radar>Settings>DetectionandselectalowerDetectionsensitivity.Thisdecreasestheriskoffalse
alarms,butitcouldalsocausetheradartomisssomemovement.
-Low:Usethissensitivitywhentherearealotofmetalobjectsorlargevehiclesinthearea.Itwilltakelongertime
fortheradartotrackandclassifyobjects.Thiscanreducethedetectionrange,especiallyforfastmovingobjects.
-Medium:Thisisthedefaultsetting.
-High:Usethissensitivitywhenyouhaveanopeneldwithoutmetalobjectsinfrontoftheradar.Thiswill
increasethedetectionrangeforhumans.
•Modifytheincludeandexcludezones:
Iftheincludezoneincludeshardsurfaces,suchasametalwall,theremaybereectionsthatcausesmultipledetections
forasinglephysicalobject.Inthiscase,modifytheincludezone,see,oraddanexcludezonethatmaskseverything
behindthesurface,see.
•Filteronmovement:
GotoSettings>Radar>Settings>DetectionandselectIgnoreswayingobjects.Thissettingwillminimizefalsealarms
fromtrees,bushes,andagpolesinthecoveragezone.
•Filterontime:
-GotoSettings>Radar>Scenarios.
