Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard, this product will, if used according to these
instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

1. SAFETY
1.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:
9 Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and
all electrical connections for wear and damage. Sealey recommend that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all
electrical products.
Electrical safety information. It is important that the following information is read and understood:
9 Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.
9 Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.
Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is tted with the
correct fuse.
8 DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
8 DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.
8 DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or is replaced immediately by a
qualied electrician.
9 If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch o󰀨 the electricity supply and remove from use.
Ensurethatrepairsarecarriedoutbyaqualiedelectrician.
1.2. GENERAL SAFETY
8 DO NOT use for extracting materials with a temperature above 40ºC.
NOTE: Use on at, level and stable surfaces in use and during transport, servicing, assembly or disposal to avoid overturning,
falling or uncontrolled movements of the appliance or of its component parts.
DANGER! DO NOT extract hot or glowing ash, cigarette ends, inammable, explosive, corrosive or other dangerous substances.
8 DO NOT use to extract soot.
8 DO NOT use as a seat as this may damage the unit.
8 DO NOT operate the unit in rooms where the danger of an explosion exists. The dusts, vapours or uids can ignite or explode.
8 DO NOT use to extract the following health hazardous dusts:
Class L (soft woods and solid surface material), Class M (hard woods, board materials, concrete and brick dust),
Class H (asbestos and mould).
8 DO NOT operate the extractor without the lter in place. Using the unit without the lter may result in motor failure and will
invalidate the warranty.
8 DO NOT operate the unit to attempt extraction of inammable or explosive uids such as benzene, oil, alcohol, or solvents.
8 DO NOT place the attachments close to your face.
8 DO NOT point the hose end at other persons or animals.
8 DO NOT leave the extractor running unattended. Turn the power supply OFF when not in use.
8 DO NOT operate the extractor while under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or intoxicating medication.
8 DO NOT use the extractor in the rain or in very damp conditions.
8 DO NOT use the extractor for a task it is not designed to perform.
9 Disconnect the extractor from the power supply before servicing, changing accessories, or performing and maintenance.
9 Provide good ventilation of work place.
9 Use only genuine parts and accessories. Unauthorised parts and accessories may be dangerous and will invalidate your warranty.
9 Maintain the extractor in good condition. Use authorised qualied agent for servicing.
9 Empty and clean the extractor after each use.
9 When not in use store the extractor in it’s original packaging in a clean, safe, childproof location.

WARNING: This machine is not suitable for picking up hazardous dust.
WARNING :This machine is for dry use only.
WARNING :This machine is for indoor use only.
WARNING : This machine shall be stored indoors only.

2. INTRODUCTION
Create a dust-free workplace with 2.5kPa of suction, to protect machinery and lungs from dust. Quality lter (1x supplied) collects dust and
debris as small as 0.5 microns. 2m Flexible hose allows you to focus suction exactly where you need it (via 100mm outlet). Five di󰀨erent
sized adaptors (105, 70, 45, 40 and 35mm) to allow xing to extraction ports on most drills, saws and sanders. 50L Capacity drum makes
unit suitable for the workshop.

5.1. ASSEMBLING FILTER BAG
5.1.1. Place lter cartridge (9) into lter bag (10) (see g.3).
5.1.2. Fold excess bag (10) inside the lter cartridge (9) (see g 4).
5.1.3. Plug assembled lter cartridge (9, 10) onto motor casing (1) (see g.5).

5.1.4. Place the entire section into the container (2) and secure with locking strap (4).
5.1.5. Mount the collector hose (5) to the container (2) using one of the hose clamps (6) (see g.6).
5.1.6. Attach the other end of the collection hose (5) to the hose coupling (7) using the other hose clamp (6) (see g.7)
6. OPERATION
NOTE: Ensure all Safety Instructions in Section 1 are read and understood and carried out before use and save the instructions and
warnings for future reference.
NOTE: Make sure all fittings are tight and securely in place before starting the unit.
6.1. POWER SWITCH
WARNING! Ensure that the extractor power switch is in the OFF position prior to connecting to the electrical mains.
6.1.1. Plug the extractor into the electrical mains.
6.1.2. To turn the extractor on, press the I (ON) on the power switch (g 1).
6.1.3. To turn extractor o󰀨, press the O (OFF) on the power switch (g 1).
6.2. EMPTYING THE TANK
WARNING! Ensure that the power switch is in the OFF position and the plug is removed from the electrical mains.
6.2.1. Release the locking strap (g 1) and remove the motor plate and place in a secure location.
6.2.2. Empty the contents into a suitable container.
NOTE: Dispose of the contents properly according to local regulations.
7. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! The appliance shall be disconnected from its power source during service and when replacing parts and, if that the
removal of the plug is foreseen, it shall be clearly indicated that the removal of the plug has to be such that an operator can
from any of the points to which he has access that the plug remains removed.
WARNING! Prior to carrying out any maintenance or cleaning, isolate the extractor from the electrical power source.
7.1. FILTER CLEANING
7.1.1. When there is a notable reduction of suction the lter will require cleaning.
7.1.2. Remove the motor casing from the tank.
7.1.3. Remove the lter. See Section 5, g.3.
7.1.4. For routine cleaning, remove any deposits using a soft bristle brush (not supplied) into a suitable container.
NOTE: Dispose of the waste properly according to local regulations.
WARNING! Avoid breathing in any airborne dust.
7.2. CLEANING
8 DO NOT use abrasive or solvent cleaners. Clean with a damp cloth.
7.2.1. Wipe out container using clean, dry cloth.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers
and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
Note: It is our policy to continually improve products and as such we reserve the right to alter data, specifications and component parts without prior
notice.

Warranty: Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which is required for any claim.
