1. SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure Health and Safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using
tools and equipment.
9 Avoid shocks, impact, dropping etc.
8 DO NOT use the dial bore gauge if damaged.
8 DO NOT remove output connector lid, without using the output interface. Output should never be connected to anything metal. Doing
so could damage the dial indicator.
8 DO NOT connect any part of the dial indicator to a voltage source. Doing so will damage the circuits within.
9 This is a precision instrument, always return gauge components to the storage case.
9 Remove the battery if the dial indicator is not used for a long period of time.
9 Keep indicator face clean and dry.
9 Maintain the gauge in good and clean condition for best and safest performance.
9 Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.
9 Ensuretheworkareaoorisnotslippery;wearnonslipshoes.

(SR44) with its positive (+) side upwards.
