#1 How does this evaporative swamp cooler provide cooling?

Our portable air conditioners cools by adding water and frozen ice boxes, releasing the cold temperature into the water and circulating it to blow out cool air.

#2 Does it measure up to the cooling power of an air conditioner?

It actually cools through water, so it can't compete with an air conditioner, but it's cooler than a regular fan and more energy efficient than an air conditioner.

#3 Is the ice boxes placed in the top or bottom water tank?

Typically, adding water to the reservoir at the bottom is the most suitable, as adding water from the top may lead to spillage.

#4 Does the ice crystal boxes need to be replaced with water frequently?

Be sure to note that after adding 80% of water for the first time, there is no need to replace the water in the box. Just circulate and refrigerate for continued use.

#5 If the water tank is dirty, how do I replace and clean it?

You can remove the back panel of the evaporative air swamp cooler, take off the filter cotton board for cleaning. We also provide a cleaning sponge for cleaning the bottom water tank.
