TheActiveGatekeepermonitorsanareasuchasanentrancegate.Whenmotionisdetectedinthemonitoredarea,theGatekeeper

will,dependingonconguration,steerthecameratoaselectedpresetpositionorstartautotrackingfromaselectedpresetposition.

Usingazoomed-inpresetpositioncanmakeitpossibleto,forexample,readalicenseplateoridentifyaperson.Whenmotion

isnolongerdetected,thecamerareturnstoitsHomepositionafteradenedtime.

ToenabletheGatekeeper,gotoPTZ>Gatekeeperandfollowtheonlineinstructions.

Itisalsopossibleto,forexample,recordvideoorsaveimages(takeasnapshot)whiletheGatekeeperisactive.GotoEventsandset

upanactionrulewithPTZPresetReachedorAutotrackingastrigger.

Aguardtourdisplaysthevideostreamfromdifferentpresetpositions,one-by-one,inapredeterminedorderoratrandomandfor

congurabletimeperiods.Theenabledguardtourwillkeeprunningaftertheuserhasloggedofforclosedthebrowser.
