Instructions for Use Pressure Release
This pressure cooker allows two different ways to release cooking pressure:
Natural Release and Quick Release.
Natural Release
- Allows the appliance to rest after cooking until the pressure
naturally decreases enough to safely open the lid. This
method is best for foods with high liquid contents such as
soup, beans, and stews.
- To use the natural pressure release, rotate the steam
release valve to the sealing marker and do not move it
during or after cooking. When the float valve drops, it is
safe to open the lid.
Quick Release
- Allows the machine to release pressure quickly when
cooking is complete. Best for foods that require a precise
cook time.
- To use the quick pressure release, set the steam
release valve to Sealing during cooking and turn it to
Venting when the cooking is done.
WARNING: DO NOT turn the steam release valve to Venting after cooking soup,
or any other food with a lot of liquid; the steam must be released naturally,
leaving the steam release valve set to Sealing.
WARNING: DO NOT attempt to open the lid before the product has cooled
and all internal pressure has been released. Difficulty rotating the lid indicates
that contents are still under pressure it should never be forced open. After all
the steam is released, the pressure will decline and the lid will be able to rotate
with ease.

Sous Vide Cooking
For Sous Vide cooking, the food is first placed in a plastic bag and the air removed
using a suitable Sous Vide vacuum.*
The cooking temperature for Sous Vide is much lower than usually used for
cooking, typically around 55 to 60 °C (130 to 140 °F) for red meat, 66 to 71 °C (150
to 160 °F) for poultry, and higher for vegetables. The cooking time is usually one to
seven hours though it can be longer.
The intent is to cook the food item evenly, ensuring that the inside is properly
cooked without overcooking the outside, and to retain moisture.
*Food vacuum sealers are widely available.
For the Sous Vide preset, the LED Display (17) will show "PRE," indicating that
it is in the preheating process. When the water reaches the desired
temperature, the appliance will beep and begin the countdown.
Keep Warm mode will not turn on for Sous Vide preset.
Sauté Cooking
Saute cooking is to brown the food by cooking quickly for a default cooking time of
5 minutes at a high heat. To do this in your Air Fryer Pressure Cooker the food
must be place in the Pressure Cooker Pot (8) and the lid not fitted. Turn the food
over during Saute cooking to ensure the food browns all over.
If desired add a little cooking oil whilst Saute cooking to help browning.
For the Sauté preset, the LED Display (17) will show "PRE," indicating that it is
in the preheating process. When the water reaches the desired temperature,
the appliance will beep and begin the countdown.
Keep Warm mode will not turn on for Sauté preset.
Steam Cooking
Steam cooking is a method that utilizes steam which is created by boiling water
to cook food. Steam cooking is often considered a healthier cooking method and
preserving its natural flavors and nutrients.
To do this in your Air Fryer Pressure Cooker, add water
to the pot and insert the Rack (11) into the Pressure
Cooker Pot (8) as shown right, then place the food on
the Rack (11).

Note on Air Fryer Cooking Pre-set
Bake/Roast
Baking in an air fryer involves utilizing the circulating hot air within the appliance
to achieve a convection oven effect. In contrast to traditional baking, which relies
on dry heat, air fryers employ swift air circulation to cook food. This method
results in a crispy exterior while retaining moisture within the food.
To do this in your Air Fryer Pressure Cooker, place the food to be baked in a baking
tin or overproof dish and put it onto the Rack (11).
Dehydrate
Dehydrating in an air fryer is a method that leverages the appliance's airflow and
controlled temperature settings to remove moisture from foods. This process is
ideal for creating preservative-free snacks like dried fruits, vegetables, or jerky.
To do this in your Air Fryer Pressure Cooker, slice the food into uniform pieces for
even dehydration, then place the food onto the Rack (11), ensuring proper spacing
for air circulation. Turn the food periodically for uniform dehydration.
When the cooking is completed, allow the dehydrated items to cool before storing
them in airtight containers.
