1. SAFETY
1.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:
Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and
all electrical connections for wear and damage. Sealey recommend that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all electrical
products.
If the product is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable
Appliance Test) tested.
Electrical safety information, it is important that the following information is read and understood.
1.1.1. Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.
1.1.2. Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.
1.1.3. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is tted with the
correct fuse - see fuse rating in these instructions.
8 DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
8 DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable. Remove the plug from the socket by maintaining a rm grip on the plug.
8 DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or replaced immediately by a
qualied electriciann.
1.1.4. This product is tted with a BS1363/A 3 pin plug.
If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch the electricity supply and remove from use.
Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363/A 3 pin plug. If in doubt contact a qualied electrician.
Class II products are wired with live (brown) and neutral (blue) only are marked with the
Class II symbol;
A) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal ‘L’.
B) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal ‘N’.
C) After wiring, check that there are no bare wires and ensure that all wires have been correctly connected.
Ensure that the cable outer sheath extends inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight.
DO NOT connect either wire to the earth terminal.
Sealey recommend that repairs are carried out by a qualied electrician.
1.2. GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS

1.2.1. WORK AREA SAFETY
9 Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
9 Evaluate your working area before using the tool; e.g. ceilings, oors and enclosures may contain electrical items or water piping.
8 DO NOT operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
9 Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
1.2.2. PERSONAL SAFETY
9 Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. DO NOT use a power tool while you are
tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
9 Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,
hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
9 Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the o-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking
up or carrying the tool.
9 Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
9 Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on.

9 If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used.
1.2.3. POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
8 DO NOT force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer
at the rate for which it was designed.
8 DO NOT use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and o. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
WARNING! Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power tools.
8 DO NOT hold unsecured work piece in your hand. Secure loose work pieces with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device.
9 Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and DO NOT allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
9 Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may aect
the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
9 Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions
and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations dierent from those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.

8 DO NOT abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from the heat, oil,
sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
9 When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
9 If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD
reduces the risk of electric shock.

9 Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
9 Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and DO NOT allow persons unfamiliar with these power tools or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
9 Recharge only with the charger specied by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk
of re when used with another battery pack.
9 Use power tools only with specically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
9 When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a re.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid
contacts yes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
8 DO NOT use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modied. Damaged or modied batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour
resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury.
8 DO NOT expose a battery pack or tool to re or excessive temperature. Exposure to re or temperature above 130°C may cause
explosion.

8 Follow all charging instructions and DO NOT charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specied in the
instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specied range may damage the battery and increase the risk of re.
2. INTRODUCTION
Variable speed trigger for greater control. Cast aluminium gearbox. Rubber gearhead cover. Thermal overload protection. Double injection body

4. OPERATION
4.1. USING THE WRENCH
NOTE: Use only impact grade sockets.
4.2. Fit the socket to the wrench by snapping it onto the square drive.
4.3. Fit the battery pack to the wrench by aligning the tongue on the battery with the
groove in the housing and slide into place.
4.4. Ensure that the battery pack is rmly located, A click will be heard when it has
locked into position.
4.5. To select the required direction of rotation, push the forward or reverse, push the forward or reverse control (g.1)
to the left or right. DO NOT attempt to change the direction of rotation whilst trigger is depressed.
4.6. Speed can be controlled by varying the nger pressure on the trigger.
4.7. The unit has Auto-Stop, Low and High Speed conditions. These can be selected by depressing the small button alongside the LED
indicators (g.1).
NOTE: The Auto-Stop function can only be engaged when the drive action is set to undo direction.
4.8. Initial pressure will switch on the work light.

5. BATTERY CHARGING
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions related to the battery and its charger. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, re and/or serious injury.
NOTE: When new, the batteries will have been shipped in a low charge state. Fully charge the batteries before using your tool.
5.1. To test battery charge state press the tab on the rear face of the battery. LED lights indicate 4 leds for full power, 1 led for low power.
5.2. To remove the battery from the equipment, depress the spring loaded button on the battery pack. Remove the battery pack by sliding
out. DO NOT touch the metal battery terminals.
5.3. The battery is designed to t into the charger one way only. Insert the battery fully and rmly to seat the battery into the charging base.
5.4. Take the base charger and plug it into the mains, switch on the power and the LED on the charger will illuminate.
5.5. When the battery is on charge the red LED on the charger will illuminate.
5.6. When the green LED on the Charger illuminates permanently, the battery is fully charged.
5.7. Remove the battery from the charger. Switch off and remove the plug from the mains supply.
6. MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always disconnect the battery before carrying out any inspection, maintenance or cleaning.
9 Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is maintained.
WARNING: Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorised
service providers.
6.1. GENERAL INSPECTION
6.1.1. Regularly check that all the xing screws are tight. Repairs should be carried out by an authorised service centre.
6.2. CLEANING
WARNING: Always wear protective equipment including eye protection and gloves when cleaning this tool.
6.2.1. Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and shorten the device’s service life.
6.2.2. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
6.2.3. Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. If dry cleaning is not sucient, a mild detergent on a damp cloth is recommended.
6.2.4. Water must never come into contact with the tool. Ensure the tool is thoroughly dry before using it.
6.2.5. If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes (where applicable).
6.3. LUBRICATION
6.3.1. Slightly lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals with a suitable spray lubricant.
6.4. STORAGE
6.4.1. Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children.

WARNING! – Risk of Hand Arm Vibration Injury.
This tool may cause Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome if its use is not managed adequately.
This tool is subject to the vibration testing section of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
This tool is to be operated in accordance with these instructions.
Measured vibration emission value (a): 9.3m/s²
Uncertainty value (k): 1.5m/s²
Please note that the application of the tool to a sole specialist task may produce a different average vibration emission. We recommend
that a specific evaluation of the vibration emission is conducted prior to commencing with a specialist task.
A health and safety assessment by the user (or employer) will need to be carried out to determine the suitable duration of use for each
tool.
NB: Stated Vibration Emission values are type-test values and are intended to be typical.
Whilst in use, the actual value will vary considerably from and depend on many factors.
Such factors include; the operator, the task and the inserted tool or consumable.
NB: ensure that the length of leader hoses is sufficient to allow unrestricted use, as this also helps to reduce vibration.
The state of maintenance of the tool itself is also an important factor, a poorly maintained tool will also increase the risk of Hand Arm
Vibration Syndrome.
Health surveillance.
We recommend a programme of health surveillance to detect early symptoms of vibration injury so that management procedures
can be modified accordingly.
Personal protective equipment.
We are not aware of any personal protective equipment (PPE) that provides protection against vibration injury that may result from the
uncontrolled use of this tool. We recommend a sufficient supply of clothing (including gloves) to enable the operator to remain warm
and dry and maintain good blood circulation in fingers etc.
Please note that the most effective protection is prevention, please refer to the Correct Use and Maintenance section in these

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
