1. Use the thermometer to measure your temple temperature only, the place between the eyehole
and the hairline, close to the temporal artery.
2. Do not place the thermometer on scarred tissue, open sores or abrasions.
3. Using drug therapies may raise forehead temperature, which may lead to incorrect measure-
ments.
4. Do not dismantle the unit unless replacing the batteries.
5. Children should not use the thermometer if being alone, without supervision of adults.
6. The thermometer is not shock proof. Do not drop the thermometer or shock it heavily.
7. The thermometer is not water proof. Do not immerse it in liquid of all kinds including water.
8. To ensure correct readings, please wait for at least 2 minutes between continuous measurements
for the thermometer to return to room temperature.
9. Do not use the thermometer when flammable materials are around.
10. Stop using the thermometer once malfunctions appear or it operates abnormally.
11. Clean the thermometer probe before measuring.
12. Do not take measurement of temple skin if it is exposed to direct sunlight, fireplace heat and air
conditioner flow, as this may lead to incorrect readings.
13. If thermometer has been put at below-freezing temperatures, please wait for at least 1 hour for it
to return to room temperature before measuring.
14. Being operated or stored outside the stated temperature and humidity ranges and measuring
the patient whose temperature is below the room temperature may degrade the performance of
the thermometer.
15. Body temperature, like blood pressure, varies from person to person, and during the day, it may
range from 35.5°C to 37.8°C (95.9°F to 100.0°F). For some people it may show some difference
from their normal temple temperature. It is recommended to learn and recognize the temple
temperature while healthy. For accurate results, measure the same area of the temple each
time of measuring.
16. Avoid taking measurement within 30 minutes after physical exercise, bathing or eating.
17. Keep the temporal area dry and clean from sweat, make-up, etc.
18. Calibration is recommended every two years.
19. Follow the national requirement to dispose unit.
IMPORTANT!
Read instruction manual before using the thermometer
Quick Start
1. Install battery into the thermometer. Make sure the polarity is correct.
2. Press and release the POWER button. Unit will beep once. Wait until it beeps again twice and °F
appears in the display.
3. Place and hold the thermometer probe firmly to the skin at the temple and wait several seconds
for the device to beep once more.
4. Read the temperature on the display.
What are normal temperature values?
Human body temperature varies from person to person. One person's body temperatures are
different from time to time as well. Therefore, it is very important to know your normal body
temperature range. Thus we recommend you measure yourself when healthy to establish
referenced temperatures which will make you feel more confident of the measured temperature
when ill.
1. Take the battery cover off in the direction shown.
2. Install 1 new CR2032 battery into thermometer.
3. Re-place the battery cover securely.

CONNECTING TO MOBILE DEVICES
Connect to a mobile device (Android, iOS) with a headset jack adapter.
1. Please do not drop the unit of expose to heavy shock. The unit is not shock proof.
2. Wipe the tip and probe with an alcohol swab or cotton swab moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol
before & after each use. After cleaning, wait at least 2 minutes before taking a measurement for
the unit to readjust to room temperature.
3. Use only a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the thermometer (if necessary). Please avoid thinner
and benzene or other harsh
4. Please remove the battery if the unit will not be used for a long period.
