Levelthecamera

Toadjusttheviewinrelationtoareferenceareaoranobject,usethelevelgridincombinationwithamechanicaladjustment

ofthecamera.

1.GotoVideo>Image>andclick

2.Click

toshowthelevelgrid.

3.Adjustthecameramechanicallyuntilthepositionofthereferenceareaortheobjectisalignedwiththelevelgrid.

Adjustthefocus

Thisproducthasthreefocusmodes:

•Auto:Thecameraautomaticallyadjustsfocusbasedontheentireimage.

•Area:Thecameraautomaticallyadjustsfocusbasedonaselectedareaoftheimage.

•Manual:Thefocusissetmanuallyataxeddistance.

Toturnoffautofocusandadjustthefocusmanually:

1.Intheliveviewwindow,iftheZoomsliderisvisible,clickZoomandselectFocus.

2.ClickMandusetheslidertosetthefocus.

Adjustthefocusfasterwithfocusrecallareas

Tosavethefocussettingsataspecicpan/tiltrange,addafocusrecallarea.Eachtimethecameramovesintothatareaitrecallsthe

previouslysavedfocus.It’senoughtocoverhalfofthefocusrecallareaintheliveview.

Werecommendthefocusrecallfeatureinthefollowingscenarios:

•Whenthereisalotofmanualoperationinliveview,forexamplewithajoystick.

•WherePTZpresetpositionswithmanualfocusarenotefcient,forexamplemovementswherethefocussettingchanges

continuously.

•Inlow-lightscenarios,wheretheautofocusischallengedbythelightingconditions.

Important

•Thefocusrecalloverridesthecamera’sautofocusatthespecicpan/tiltrange.

•Apresetpositionoverridesthefocussettingsavedinthefocusrecallarea.

•Themaximumnumberoffocusrecallareasis20.

Createafocusrecallarea

1.Pan,tilt,andzoomintotheareawhereyouwouldliketohavefocus.
