children less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance

DO NOT leave the appliance unattended during use.

Always use this appliance on a solid, level, heat resistant

Always unplug the power cord after the appliance has
been used, before it is cleaned and whilst being repaired.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, it’s service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Regular periodic checks should be carried out on the
mains cable to ensure no damage is evident. Should there

Description of Parts
Before the first use of your Crepe Maker
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
Ensure all parts are present see Description of Parts above.
Clean the Cooking Plate (1) with a soft damp cloth or sponge and dry
thoroughly.
Lightly grease the Cooking Plate (1) with a little cooking oil and spread with an
absorbent kitchen towel, wiping away any excess oil.
When the appliance is heated for the first time, it may emit a slight smoke or
odour. This is quite normal and does not affect the safety of your appliance.
Using Your Crepe Maker
Place the unit on a flat, level, heat resistant surface making sure it is not in
contact with a wall, corner, curtains or any other soft furnishings.
Ensure that the Thermostat Control (5) set fully anticlockwise.
Insert the plug into the mains socket.
The Power/Ready Indicators (4) will both illuminate.
The Green LED indicator is the “Ready” indicator this will illuminate
when the Cooking Plate (1) has reached the desired temperature.
The Red LED Indicator is the “Power” indicator this will illuminate to
show that power is going to the unit.
Turn the Thermostat Control (5) clockwise to the desired setting, the Ready
Indicator (4) will go out, indicating the cooking plate is heating up.

Once the desired temperature is reached, the Ready Indicator (4) will
illuminate to indicate the plate has reached the correct cooking temperature.
Once the Ready Indicator (4) is illuminated, pour the crepe batter mix onto
the Cooking Plate (1).
Stir the batter mix in a circular motion using the T-Stick (2).
The Ready Indicator (4) will cycle on and off during the cooking process, this is
quite normal and simply indicates that the set cooking temperature is being
maintained.
Allow the crepe to cook until the surface is no longer liquid and it can be
moved slightly.
Using the Spatula (3), lift and flip the crepe completely over.
Continue to cook until the underside is browned slightly and easily lifted.
Remove crepe and position on a wire rack and allow to cool before serving.
Adjust the temperature as required after the first crepe is cooked to obtain
best results for any further crepes.
Repeat as needed stacking the crepes layered between sheets of baking paper,
before serving.
If required place the cooked crepes into an oven on a low heat to keep warm.
Return the Thermostat Control (5) fully anticlockwise and remove plug from
the mains.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always turn the power off and remove the plug from the socket outlet before
carrying out any cleaning or maintenance.
Allow to cool before cleaning.
The Cooking Plate (1) is coated with a non-stick coating, so little cleaning is
needed simply wipe the plate with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not use harsh or abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
Do not place in a dishwasher.
Store in a dry cool place away from direct heat or sunlight.
Non-Wireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming
to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you. If you need to remove the plug DISCONNECT
FROM THE MAINS and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of
it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there
is a danger of electric shock.
