and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

1. SAFETY
WARNING! Only suitable for automotive circuits. NOT suitable for 110-230V applications.
99 99 Observe standard workshop safety procedures when using.
WARNING! The Fuse blade may become hot during testing. Allow to cool before removing.
WARNING! DO NOT exceed Maximum Load: 20A/48V for Max 10sec.
99 99 Ensure vehicles ignition, is switched OFF, before connecting or disconnecting tester.
99 99 Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.9Keep tools and other items away from the engine, and
ensure you can see the battery and working parts of engine clearly.
99 99 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
9 Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings and other loose jewellery. Contain or tie back long hair.
9 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
98 99 DO NOT disassemble. Tester must be checked by qualified service personnel only.
98 99 DO NOT get wet or use in damp or wet locations or areas where there is condensation.
98 99 DO NOT use for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
8 DO NOT pull by the cables to free from the fuse terminals.
98 99 DO NOT operate if damaged.
9 When not in use store in a safe, dry, childproof location.

2. INTRODUCTION
Fast, accurate and safe current measurement at the fuse box. Ideal for fault-finding on car and commercial vehicle electrical circuits. Features large
LCD display. Plugs straight into the vehicle’s fuse board.

4. OPERATION
4.1. Measuring
4.1.1. With the vehicle ignition OFF, remove the fuse from the circuit to be tested
and insert it into the fuse jack (fig.1.2), this ensures the correct level of
circuit protection.
4.1.2. Insert the plug into the vehicle fuse socket.
4.1.3. Switch on the vehicle ignition if required, to energise the circuit and then switch
on the tester fig.1.5.
4.1.4. Operate the circuit under test and the LCD will display the measured current.
WARNING! The Fuse blade may become hot during testing. Allow to cool
before touching.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.

Important: No Liability is accepted for incorrect use of this product.
Warranty: Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which is required for any claim.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products
containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak’s registered compliance scheme. Jack
Sealey Ltd Batteries Producer Registration Number (BPRN) is BPRN00705.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Battery Replacement
5.1.1. Power is supplied by a 12V A23S battery. The ‘BAT’ symbol appears on the LCD display when replacement is required.
WARNING! To avoid electric shock ensure all inputs are disconnected from any circuit before removing the battery cover.
5.1.2. To replace the battery, remove the screw from the back of the unit and remove the cover.
5.1.3. Remove the exhausted battery and replace with a new one observing the connection polarity. Replace cover.
NOTE! Dispose of old battery according to local authority guidelines.
5.2. Cleaning
5.2.1. Clean using a soft damp cloth.
5.2.2. Store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
