connectingthecameraandmediaconverterswitchtothenetworkinadaisychain.
Bychangingthepositionofthedipswitches,eachnetworkconnectorportinthemediaconverterswitchcanbecongured

TheAxisproductcandetectmovementintheeldofview,forexampleamovingvehicleorperson.Ifautotrackingisenabled,the
Axisproductwillautomaticallypanandtilttofollowthemovingobject.Incasethereismuchsimultaneousmovement,theareawith
themostmovementwillbefollowed.Autotrackingcontinuesuntilthemovingobjectstopsordisappearsfromthemonitoredarea.
Movementinareasblockedbyprivacymasksandinexcludeareasdoesnottriggerautotracking.
ItisstronglyrecommendedtoenablethePTZControlQueueifautotrackingandguardtourareenabledsimultaneously.InthePTZ

Auserwhobelongstoagroup(seeUsers,onpage40)withahigherPTZprioritycangobeforeotherusersinthequeueand
takecontroloftheproduct.Theorderofpriorityisasfollows:
1.AdministratorAnadministratortakesoverPTZcontrolregardlessofwhoisrstinqueue.Theadministratorwillbe
removedfromthequeue60secondsafterthelastPTZcontrolcommand.
2.EventTheAxisproductcanbeconguredtogotoapresetpositionwhentriggeredbyanalarm(seeEvents,onpage35).
Theeventwillimmediatelybeplacedrstinthequeueexceptwhenanadministratorisincontrol.
