The Work Bowl, Snap-On Lid, Multi-Use
Blade, and Discs are dishwasher safe
(the SELF-DETECT Base is not). If the
blender base has a self-cleaning pro-
gram, pour in 6-8 cups of warm water
with a few drops of dish soap and run.
Clean the SELF-DETECT Base by wiping
the base with a cloth moistened with
warm, soapy water. Then wipe with a
clean towel to remove soap residue and
dry with a clean towel.
If preferred, wash the all food processor
parts in warm soapy water. Rinse clean
under running water, then dry.
Refer to the blender owner’s manual for
care instructions for the motor base.
SanItIzIng
1. First perform the “Easy Cleaning”
instructions.
2. Then wash the pieces in 1.5 tsp.
(7,4 ml) institutional or household
bleach in 2 qt. (1,9 L) water
OR in 16 oz. (473 ml) of vinegar
for every 16 oz. (473 ml) of water.
3. Allow the pieces to stand in the
solution for an additional 1-1/2
minutes.
4. Pour the bleach or vinegar mix-
ture out.
5. Allow the pieces to air dry.
DO NOT rinse after sanitizing.

The 12-Cup Food Processor Attach-
ment with SELF-DETECT comes with
a convenient storage system. Here’s
how to put the attachment in storage
mode:
1. Assemble the attachment as
if you were going to use the
Multi-Use Blade, but do not put
on the lid.
2. Invert the lid, and set into the
work bowl so that small food
pusher fits over the column in
the center of the bowl.
3. Place Reversible Discs into the
Disc Case and snap into place
where the Snap-On Lid secures
to the Work Bowl.
