The tube liquid may separate slightly due to vibrations in shipping. For accurate readings, tap the side of the thermometer against your hand with the bulb side down to combine the liquid before hanging.
Mounting location for accurate measurements: Choose a location that is not subject to direct weather elements. An ideal location is out of direct sun, on the North side of a building or in a shady spot.
Mounting on nail or screw: Hang the thermometer from a long nail or screw (not included) with the build in key hole.
Key holder compartment (if applicable): Key holder compartment on back of thermometer stores spare keys so you’ll never be locked out again.
