Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard, this product will, if used according to these instructions,
and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

1. SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL SAFETY
Modern vehicles contain extensive electronic systems.
You are required to check with the vehicle manufacturer, for any specic instructions regarding the use of this type of
equipment on each vehicle. No liability will be accepted for damage / injury, where this product is not used in accordance with
all instructions.
9 Ensure that the vehicle is in a well ventilated area.
9 Apply the handbrake and select neutral or ‘park’ before attempting to start.
9 Ensure that the ignition switch and all ancillary electrical equipment is switched off.
9 Keep clear of any pulleys, belts etc. that will move once the engine starts.
9 Take care to ensure correct connection polarity; red clamp to positive, black clamp to negative.
9 Energise the unit only at ambient temperatures between -30°C and 40°C.
9 When not in use, switch off and store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.
8 DO NOT allow this power pack to become wet.
8 DO NOT dismantle this unit: there are no user serviceable parts inside.
8 DO NOT use in explosive atmospheres (e.g. the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust).
8 DO NOT place the product in a high-temperature environment.
8 DO NOT use the unit if it appears damaged in any way.
8 DO NOT use this product for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
8 DO NOT disassemble or modify the product.
8 DO NOT leave in direct sunlight or expose to heat.
8 DO NOT use abrasive or solvent cleaners on this product.
8 DO NOT allow children or pets to play with this product
8 DO NOT allow the positive and negative clamps to touch.
8 DO NOT connect both cable clamps to the same piece of metal.
8 DO NOT abuse the product. Handle with care.
1.2. BATTERY SAFETY
WARNING! To reduce the risk of burns or re:
8 DO NOT attempt to open, disassemble, modify or service the battery pack.
8 DO NOT crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in re or water.
8 DO NOT expose to temperatures above 60°C (140°).
8 DO NOT use the product to start a bulging car battery.
9 Replace only with the battery pack designated for this product.
9 Recycle or dispose of used battery as stipulated by local regulation.
8 If the electrolyte in the cells gets on your skin, thoroughly wash with soap and water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool
water and seek immediate medical attention.
2. INTRODUCTION
Easily ts in a glove box or backpack and benets from being compact and lightweight. Powered by lithium-ion technology and fully
protected against short circuit, overload and reverse polarity. Fitted with a 20,000mAh lithium-ion battery and two USB Type A outlets
(5V/3A, 9V/2A,12V/1.5A), Type-C input and output leads (5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/2.25A) and DC output 15V/10A this
unit can also supply several full charges for smartphones and tablets/laptops. Capable of starting an average 10L petrol or 8L diesel
engine. Integral LED ashlight with multiple settings (Solid, SOS, Flash). Supplied in a sturdy hard-shell zip-up case with battery
clamps and 2x USB cables.

CHARGING THE DEVICE
4.2.1. Connect one end of the USB cable to the AC adapter, and the other end to USB C input port to begin charging.
4.2.2. Press the ON/OFF button to start charging. The percentage of battery capacity and power will display.
4.2.3. When the battery is fully charged, the LCD screen will turn o󰀨 automatically. Full charge can take up to 10 hours.
4.2.4. Unplug the cable when no charge is required.
NOTE: ensure the jump starter is fully charged before rst use. The jump starter will power o󰀨 automatically when no load is detected,
or when charging is complete.
4.1. POWER BANK
This device can be used as a power bank with compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets or laptops.
4.1.1. Connect the Roadstart to a compatible device.
4.1.2. Press the ON/OFF button to start charging.
4.1.3. Unplug the cable when no charge is required.
4.2. LED FLASHLIGHT
4.2.1. Long press ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn on the light.
4.2.2. Press ON/OFF button to switch between 4 modes: Solid, SOS, Flash and O󰀨.
4.3. JUMP START
NOTE: this product is for 12V batteries (maximum 10.0L petrol or 8.0L diesel engines).
Check to make sure the battery power of the jump starter is more than 50% before you use it to start your car.
4.3.1. Insert the plug of the clamp completely into the jump starter.
4.3.2. Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal (+) of the car battery
4.3.3. Connect the black clamp to the negative terminal (-) of the car battery.
4.3.4. Press the ON/OFF button and long press ‘BOOST’ until the LCD screen displays ‘BOOST’.
4.3.5. Start the car.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. STORAGE
9 Store the product in a clean, shaded and well-ventilated area.
8 DO NOT place the product in a high-temperature environment.
9 Keep the product away from children and pets.
9 Check the battery level at least once every six months and charge the product in time.
5.2. CLEANING
8 DO NOT use detergents to clean the product. Clean with a soft cloth.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When
the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any uids (if applicable) into approved
containers and dispose of the product and uids according to local regulations.

WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.

Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products
