Warranty
The warranty conditions issued by our sales company
responsible apply in all countries. We shall remedy pos-
sible malfunctions on your device within the warranty
period free of cost, provided that a material or manufac-
turing defect is the cause. In a warranty case, please
contact your dealer (with the purchase receipt) or the
next authorised customer service site.

Declaration of Conformity
We hereby declare that the machine described below
complies with the relevant basic safety and health re-
quirements in the EU Directives, both in its basic design
and construction as well as in the version placed in cir-
culation by us. This declaration is invalidated by any
changes made to the machine that are not approved by
us.

The medium pressure
hose is leaking
The medium pressure hose is not
plugged into the medium pressure gun.
1. Do not release the medium pressure hose
from the medium pressure gun while the
device is connected to the water supply or
inserted in the water reservoir.
2. Disconnect the water supply before releas-
ing the medium pressure hose from the
medium pressure gun, see Connection to
a water line or remove the device from the
water reservoir, see chapter Water remov-
al from water reservoir.
The sealing ring on the nozzle of the me-
dium pressure hose is damaged.
1. Replace the sealing ring.
The medium pressure hose is damaged. 1. Replace the medium pressure hose imme-
diately. Do not repair the medium pressure
hose.
The device runs dry The fine filter is dirty. 1. Clean the fine filter, see Cleaning the fine
filter.
The supplied water quantity is too low. 1. Check that the water supply requirements
are met, see Connecting the water supply.
2. Check that the device is properly connect-
ed to the water supply and vented, see
Connection to a water line, Water removal
from water reservoir or Suck water from
open containers.
3. Wait 20 s or let the device cool down be-
fore switching it on (the motor circuit break-
er has tripped, see Motor circuit breaker).
The device is too hot or
too cold
The motor circuit breaker has tripped,
see Motor circuit breaker.
1. Allow the device to cool down or heat up.
2. Observe the maximum ambient tempera-
ture, see Technical data.
3. Do not place the device in the sun
or operate/store it outside the permissible
ambient temperature.
The device draws too
much current
Blockage due to foreign objects in the de-
vice or accessories.
1. Remove the foreign body from the nozzle
hole of the flat jet nozzle with a needle.
2. Flush the flat jet nozzle from the front with
water.
3. Have the device checked by KÄRCHER
Service.
Incompatible accessories used. 1. Only use accessories approved by
KÄRCHER.
The trigger was not pulled fully. 1. Pull the trigger all the way to the end stop.
