1.GotoSettings>System>I/Oports.

2.Givetheinputmoduleadescriptivename.

3.TomakethePIRdetectorsendasignaltothecamerawhenitsensesmotion,selectClosedcircuitinthedrop-downlist.

TotriggerthecameratostartrecordingwhenitreceivesasignalfromthePIRdetector,youneedtocreateanactionrulein

thecamera’swebpage.

Howtorecordvideowhenthecameradetectsloudnoises

ThisexampleexplainshowtosetupthecameratostartrecordingtotheSDcardvesecondsbeforeitdetectsloudnoiseandto

stoponeminuteafter.

Makesureaudioturnedon:

1.Setupthestreamproletoincludeaudio,seeHowtoaddaudiotoyourrecordingonpage16.

Makesuretheaudiodetectionissetup:

2.GotoSettings>System>Detectors>Audiodetection.

3.Adjustthealarmlevelaccordingtoyourneeds.

Createanactionrule:

4.GotoSettings>System>Eventsandaddanactionrule.

5.Typeanamefortheactionrule.

6.Fromthelistoftriggers,selectDetectorsandthenselectAudioDetection.

7.Fromthelistofactions,selectRecordvideo.

8.Selectthestreamprolewhereaudiohasbeenturnedonorcreateanewone.

9.Enableandsetthepre-triggertimeto5seconds.

10.EnableWhiletheruleisactive.

11.Enableandsetthepost-triggertimeto60seconds.

12.SelectSDcardfromthelistofstorageoptions.

13.ClickOK.
