Raydrop KC-RD05UP Questions and Answers

#1 Why can not fill water exceed the Max Line?

This humidifier uses ultrasonic waves to make the top of the water atomization, the too high water level will make the ultrasonic wave conduction efficiency decreases, which will lead to the humidifier having little or even no mist coming out.

#2 Why the humidifier seems to have little or no mist come out even on the high mist setting?

This humidifier converges ultrasonic waves through the mist tube and the small circle to make the water on top atomized. Therefore, make sure the mist tube is clicked into place, and the small circle is in the mist tube and floating on the water.

#3 What do I need to pay attention to when cleaning this humidifier?

Please avoid the water into the air outlet and air inlet while cleaning, or filling water, which will damage the electrical components. Dry all parts with a cloth. Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.

#4 Could I put the humidifier on the floor or a wooden table?

Best place to put a humidifier is 2 4 feet above the floor where the most airflow is. It is recommended to put a tray underneath the humidifier, if you place it on a non waterproof surface, the locally high humidity levels may wet the surroundings.

#5 Can I use tap water or is distilled water preferred?

It depends on where you live. In some areas, water is richer in minerals. The humidifier won’t instantly go haywire if you do use tap water, but in the long term will cause scale and you need to maintain it more often. Distilled water is recommended.
