BRAKES
NOTICE
Should any brake issues be discovered, see
your POLARIS dealer or other qualified
technician for service.
BRAKE FREEPLAY
Check (measure) the freeplay of the foot brake at
the intervals recommended in the Periodic
Maintenance Chart beginning on page 94. If the
freeplay isn’t at specification, see your POLARIS
dealer or other authorized technician for service.

BRAKE LEVER FUNCTION
Check brake lever travel at the intervals
recommended in the Periodic Maintenance Chart
beginning on page 94.
Always service the brakes when there is no
longer sufficient stopping ability at the specified
lever travel setting.
HAND BRAKE
The front and rear brakes are hydraulic disc
brakes, activated by moving the single brake
lever toward the handlebar. These brakes are
self-adjusting.
The following checks are recommended to keep
the brake system in good operating condition.
Check more often if brakes are used heavily
under normal operation.
