Toasting Tips:
For slightly DRY bread, use a lower setting (1-3) on the Browning Control Knob.
For Toasting a single slice, use a lower setting (1-3) on the browning control knob.
FRESH bread or WHOLE WHEAT bread use a higher setting (4-6) on the browning control
knob.
ENGLISH MUFFINS will require a higher setting (4-6) on the browning control knob.
Thick cuts of bread like BAGELS take longer to toast since more moisture must be
evaporated from the bread before toasting occurs. Before toasting bagels, cut them into
two equal halves, place them in the toaster with the cut sides facing each other.
Some very thick cuts of bread may require two toasting cycles.
If you will toast bread with pieces of fruit, please remove all loose pieces before toasting.
These can fall into the toaster or stick to the guard wires.
Be careful when toasting pastries as the fillings can become very hot before the surface of
the pastry becomes brown.
Do not toast foods that drip from coatings or toppings when heated. These can cause
unsanitary conditions and increase the possibility of fire or malfunction.

Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before handling, cleaning, or
storing.
WARNING:

NOTICE: Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Simply wipe the exterior of the toaster with a clean damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. If a
cleaning solution is used, apply it to a clean cloth and not directly onto the toaster.
