GROUND COFFEE CONTAINER
Open the ground coffee container’s lid. Fig. 3. Fill the container with ground
coffee. Do not exceed 400g. Fig. 4.
TIP: To well conserve the ground coffee, keep it at room temperature in the
ground coffee container, away from humidity and light.
If you accidentally pour ground coffee into the water tank, do not start the cycle.
Clean the tank, otherwise the coffee may block the water circuit.
Close the ground coffee container lid.
MAKING COFFEE
Open the water tank lid (C). Fig. 5.
Fill the carafe (L) with cold or water at room temperature, then pour it into the
water tank (F). Fig. 6.
The number of cups is shown by the markings on the carafe and by the water
level indicator on water tank. Do not exceed 10 cups. Fig. 6.
IMPORTANT: Please note that the coffee machine doesn’t automatically dose the
water according to the number of cups set for the coffee dosage.
Place the carafe (L) onto the heating plate (H), make sure that it is properly
positioned so as to activate the coffee pouring mechanism.
MAKING COFFEE BY USING THE GROUND COFFEE STORAGE BOX
Insert a permanent lter or a paper lter into the lter holder (J). If using a paper
lter, fold the bottom of the lter to make sure it is fully open and properly
positioned in the lter holder. Fig. 8.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the paper lter is against right side of lter holder.
Make sure that the lter holder (I) is well inserted.
Select the number of cups desired by pressing the CUP SELECTION button
(7) Fig. 8. It will automatically be set after 3 seconds, or by pressing the START
button (9).
Select coffee strength desired by pressing the COFFEE STRENGTH button (8)
before starting the cycle. Fig. 10. It will automatically be set after 3 seconds, or
by pressing the START button (9)
NOTE: These two parameters will measure the ground coffee quantity based on
your selection.
Make sure there is enough coffee ground in coffee box.
The “press lever” indicator will blink. Press the lever to automatically pour
ground coffee into the lter (J). Fig. 10. Press the lever until the selected cup
quantity appears on the screen.

use of your coffee maker, make sure your lter paper is folded on the
bottom and on the side.
FOR THE BEST AROMA: If you want to give to your coffee extra fullness and
character. You can, after coffee distribution, also check and spread equally your
ground coffee in the lter before starting the cycle.
The START button blinks, press the START button(9) to start the cycle. Fig. 11.
The appliance beeps 3 times at the end of brewing cycle.
Once the brewing cycle has nished, the machine will start the keep warm mode
The START button will be slowly ashing. Keep warm mode stops 30 min later,
it beeps 3 times again.
To stop the machine during the cycle, press the START button (9) or the ON/
OFF button (1).
MAKING COFFEE WITHOUT USING THE GROUND COFFEE STORAGE BOX
Insert a permanent lter or a paper lter into the lter holder (J) Fig. 8. If using a paper
lter, make sure it is fully open and properly positioned in the lter holder. Fig. 8.
Fill the lter with ground coffee (7 grams of ground coffee per cup). Do not
exceed 70 grams. Fig. 9.
Put the lter holder back inside the machine.
Press the START button (9) to start the cycle.
The appliance beeps 3 times at the end of brewing cycle. Once the brewing
cycle has nished, the machine will start the keep warm mode The START
button will be slowly ashing. Keep warm mode stops 30 min later, it beeps 3
times again.
To stop the machine during the cycle, press the START button (9) or the ON/
OFF button (1).
NOTE:
The amount of coffee in the carafe at the end of the cycle is less than the
amount of water poured into the water tank because about 10% is absorbed by
the ground coffee and the lter.
There is an overow hole on the back of the water tank. If you add too much
water, it will leak out of this hole.
Clean your permanent lter between each use or use a new paper lter.
CAUTION:
To avoid any overflow, the carafe must be properly positioned on the warming plate
of the coffee maker, otherwise it could cause hot water or hot coffee to overflow.
The coffee maker becomes very hot during the brew cycle. Please handle
with care. Don’t remove the filter holder during the brew cycle.
Don’t add water during keep warm mode, otherwise cycle will start over again.
The cup setting number correspond to big cup of coffee. For example if you
set 10 cups in setting, it correspond to 10 big cups or 15 small cups.
OTHER FEATURES
AUTO START FUNCTION (PROG)
Your appliance is equipped with auto-start program.
Check whether the clock is set to the right time. If not, follow the instructions in
the SETTING THE CLOCK section.
NOTE:
The time set is the machine is the starting time of the brewing cycle (not the end
of the cycle)
