Intended use
The universal fixing kit CFX-UFK (belt system) is used for
fixing CFX coolers securely in the luggage compartment.
Safety notes
Please observe the prescribed safety instructions
and stipulations from the vehicle manufacturer
and service workshops.
•When fitting, ensure that the distances are correct
(fig. 2). Otherwise the cooler cannot be fixed
properly.
• To prevent damage when drilling, make sure that there
is sufficient space on the other side for the drill head to
come out.
• Deburr all drill holes and treat them with a rust-
protection agent.
• Do not use the fixing kit if it is visibly damaged.
• Always ensure sufficient ventilation so that the heat
generated from the cooler during operation can
dissipate. Make sure that the device is sufficiently far
away from walls and other objects so that the air can
circulate.
• Ensure that the ventilation openings on the cooler are
not covered.
• Secure the fixing kit in such a way that it cannot become
loose under any circumstances (sudden braking,
accidents) and cause injuries to the occupants of the
vehicle.
• Secure any parts of the system covered by panelling in
such a manner that they cannot become loose or
damage other parts and cables, or impair vehicle
functions.
• Always follow the safety instructions of the vehicle
manufacturer. Some work may only be performed by
qualified specialists.
