Repairs

parts inside the tool or batterypack.

Accessories

Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of all air vents with
clean, dry air at least once a week. To minimize the risk
of eye injury, always wear ANSI Z87.1approved eye
protection when performingthisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh
chemicals for cleaning the non-metallic parts of
the tool. These chemicals may weaken the plastic
materials used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened
only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid
get inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool
into aliquid.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, turn unit off before making any
adjustments or removing/installing attachments
or accessories. An accidental start-up can causeinjury.
Performing an Application (Fig.A, F)
The forward/reverse slider

determines the direction of
the tool and also serves as a lock off button.
1. Insert and secure the appropriate bit or accessory into
the chuck

2. Grasp the screwdriver as shown in Figure F.
3. The screwdriver is turned on and off by squeezing and
releasing the trigger switch

4. To select forward rotation, release the trigger switch and
slide the forward/reverse slider

to the right.
5. To select reverse rotation, slide the forward/ reverse
slider

the left.
NOTE: The center position of the forward/reverse
slider

locks the trigger switch

in the off position.
When changing the position of the forward/reverse
slider

, be sure the trigger switch is released.
NOTE: For best performance, #8, 2” and smaller fasteners
are recommended, or screw into pre-drilled holes.
NOTE: When the screwdriver is activated by squeezing
the trigger switch

, the LED worklight

will
automatically illuminate.
LED Worklight (Fig. A)
CAUTION: When using the worklight for purposes
other than screwdriving or drilling be sure to
remove all accessories. Unused accessories could
cause injury or propertydamage.
CAUTION: Do not stare into the LED. Serious eye

When the screwdriver is activated by pulling the trigger
