Programming the hob
This section will show you how to program the hotplates. The
table contains power levels and cooking times for several
dishes.
Switching the hob on and off
Switch the hob on and off using the main switch.
To switch the hob on: Touch the
# symbol. The indicator
above the main switch and the hotplate indicator light up. The
hob is ready to use.
To switch the hob off: Touch the
# symbol. The indicator
above the main switch and the hotplate indicators go out. The
hob is now off. The residual heat indicator remains lit until the
hotplates have cooled down sufficiently.
Note: The hob switches off automatically if all hotplates have
been switched off for more than 15 seconds.
Setting a hotplate
Set the required heat setting using symbols ò to ê.
Heat setting
ò = lowest setting.
Heat setting
ê = highest setting.
Every heat setting has an intermediate setting. This
intermediate setting is marked in the control panel with the
Øsymbol.
Selecting a heat setting
The hob must be on.
1. Touch the $ or Á symbol for the required hotplate.
. appears in the display.
2. Select the required heat setting on the settings area.
The heat setting is set.
Changing the heat setting
Select the hotplate and then select the required heat setting on
the settings area. Touch the
Ç symbol on the settings area to
select an intermediate setting.
Switch off the hotplate
Select the hotplate and then press the power level symbol 0.
Note: If no pan has been placed on the induction hotplate, the
selected power level flashes. After a certain time, the hotplate
switches off.
Cooking guidelines table
The table below contains some examples.
Cooking times depend on the power level, type, weight and
quality of the food. As such they are approximate.
When heating purées, creams and thick sauces, stir
occasionally.
Use power level 9 to begin cooking.
 
