Erasing volatile memory
The volatile memory (RAM) installed in your printer requires a power source to retain information. To erase the
buered data, simply turn o the printer.
Erasing non
volatile memory
1 Turn o the printer.
2 From the printer control panel, hold down and the right arrow button while turning the printer on.
Release the buttons only when the Configuration menu appears.
3 Press the arrow buttons until Wipe All Settings appears, and then press
.
The printer will restart several times during this process.
Note: Wipe All Settings securely removes device settings, solutions, jobs, and passwords from the printer
memory.
4 Press the arrow buttons until Exit Config Menu appears, and then press
.
The printer will perform a poweron reset, and then return to normal operating mode.
