Operations
Ice On/Off
(Type A only)
Press and hold
Flex Crisper for 3 seconds to turn the Auto Ice Maker
on or off.
When the Auto Ice Maker is on, the ice maker icon (
) turns on.
The Auto Ice Maker is set to on by default.
We recommend disabling the function in the following cases:
- The ice bucket is already full of ice.
- You want to decrease power consumption.
Vacation
(Type B only)
Press and hold
Flex Crisper for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the
Vacation mode.
Use the Vacation mode if you are going on vacation or a business
trip, or if you do not intend to use the fridge for an extended time.
When the Vacation mode activates, the Vacation mode icon (
)
turns on.
When you deactivate the Vacation mode, the fridge temperature
returns to the previous temperature.
NOTE
It is strongly recommended to empty the fridge and close the door
before activating the Vacation mode.
03 Freezer / Power Freeze (3 sec)
Freezer
Press Freezer to select the desired freezer temperature.
CAUTION
To prevent system failure or food spoiling, do not set the
temperature to -15 °C in summer (above 35 °C).
Do not store glass bottles containing liquid in the freezer. Glass
bottles will crack or break into pieces when the liquid freezes.
Power Freeze
Press and hold Freezer for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate Power
Freeze.
Power Freeze speeds up the freezing process at maximum fan
speed. The freezer keeps running at full speed for 50 hours and
then returns to the previous temperature.
When Power Freeze activates, the Power Freeze icon (
) turns
on, and the refrigerator will speed up the freezing process for you.
To freeze large amounts of food, activate Power Freeze for at least
20 hours before putting food in the freezer.
NOTE
Using Power Freeze increases power consumption. Make sure you
turn it off and return to the previous temperature if you do not intend
to use it.
