Listening to the radio
This unit alarms you emergency when receiving the
alarm signals (page 24).
Select [HD Radio] as the source.
From the Home screen (page 3), touch as follows:
The last channel you selected is tuned in, and the
source control screen for the channel is displayed.

• When receiving the analog signal broadcast, the
information on the screen is different from above.
See page 25 for the information displayed while
receiving analog signals.
1 Selects the band (AM/FM1/FM2/FM3)
• Each time you touch [FM], FM band changes in
order of FM1, FM2, and FM3.

Call letter/Slogan/Artist/PTY/Message
• Touching [< ] scrolls the text if not all of the text
is shown.
• Touching [PTY] switches between [PTY], [PS],
[Radio Text] and [Message].

5 Displays the preset stations window (page 24)
• To hide the window, touch [ > ].
6 [P1] – [P5]
• (Touch) Selects a preset channel.
• (Hold) Presets the current channel.
7 Displays/hides the following operation keys
[PTY] (For FM stations) Enters PTY search
mode.
1 Touch [PTY].
2 Touch and hold a PTY code to
search for.
If there is a station broadcasting a
program of the same PTY code as
you have selected, that station is
tuned in.
[SEEK]
Selects the seek mode for [S]/
[T].
• AUTO1*: (Initial): Auto search
• AUTO2*: Tunes in preset stations
one after another
• MANU*: Manual search
* This setting also affects the [CH
J/CHK]
operation.
