Ifthebladecontrolbecamedisplacedeitherduringshipping
orduringassembly,reassembleitnow.Ifthebladecontrol
isfirmlyin place,youmayproceedtothenextstep.
1. Insertthecurvedendofthebladecontrolintotheright
hole.SeeStepA, Figure3-5.Squeezethe handlein
andinsertthestraightendofthebladecontrolintothe
left holeoftheupperhandle.SeeStepB,Figure3-5.
2. Squeezethebladecontrolagainsttheupperhandleto
checkforproperassembly.Theholeinthebladecontrol
mustbeontheleftsideandthecontrolhandlemust
touchtheupperhandlewhensqueezed.

1. Routethecableunderthelowerhandle.Pressthe
snapfittingintotheholeon theupperhandleasshown
in Figure3-6.
2. Hookthe"Z"endof thebladecontrolcableintothe
bladecontrolfromtheoutsidetotheinside.See Figure

controlcable.
Thecablemustberoutedproperlytoavoidcontactwithall
sharpedgesandhotsurfaces.Suchcontactsdamagethe
cableand renderthecontrolsinoperative.
