1 Safety
Read this important information leaet carefully before you use the appliance and save
it for future reference.
Danger
• The appliance must not be immersed.
Warning
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
• sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments;
• farm houses;
• by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• WARNING: Always follow the instructions and use the appliance properly to avoid
potential injury.
• WARNING: If the surface of the cooking plate is cracked, switch o the appliance and
do not use it anymore to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote-control system.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the
induction cooker since they can get hot.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance operates.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance.
• Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket. Always make sure the plug is
inserted rmly into the socket.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or the appliance itself is
damaged.
• Keep the mains cord out of the reach of children. Do not let the mains cord hang
over the edge of the table or worktop on which the appliance stands.
• Never connect this appliance to an external timer switch in order to avoid a
hazardous situation.
• Make sure the cooking plate is clean and dry before you switch on the appliance.
• The ducts in the pressure regulator allowing the escape of steam should be checked
regularly to ensure that they are not blocked.
• The container must not be opened until the pressure has decreased suciently.
• Do not cover the air outlets while the induction cooker is operating.
• Do not plug in the appliance or operate the control panel with wet hands.
• Don’t clean the appliance while hot.
• Do not touch the cooking plate after cooking, as it retains heat from the cookware.
• Do not insert external objects such as iron wires and bolts into the appliance.
• Do not cover any part of the cooking plate with aluminium to prevent the risk of
electric shock, short circuiting or re.
Caution
• The symbol marked on the appliance means “Caution, Hot surfaces”, do not
touch the hot surface in order to avoid scald.
• Always let the appliance cool down before you clean or move it.

specically recommend. If you use such accessories or parts, your guarantee becomes

• Do not expose the induction cooker to high temperatures, hot gas, steam or damp
heat. Do not place the induction cooker on or near an operating or still hot stove or
cooker.
• Always switch o the appliance before you unplug it.
• Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before you clean it.
• This appliance is intended for household use only. If the appliance is used improperly
or for professional or semi-professional purposes or if it is not used according to the
instructions in the user manual, the guarantee becomes invalid and Philips refuses
any liability for damage caused.
• Place the induction cooker on a stable, horizontal and level surface and make sure
there is at least 10cm free space around it to prevent overheating.
• Do not use the induction cooker on a gas cooker or metal plate.
• For better ventilation, do not block the air inlet and outlets while the appliance is
operating, e.g. do not operate the appliance on a plastic tablecloth.
• Do not place anything between the cookware and the cooking plate.
• The maximum weight that can be put on the induction cooker is 15kg.
• Beware of hot steam that comes out of the cookware during cooking or when you
remove the lid.
• Do not lift and move the induction cooker while it is operating.
• Never put empty cookware on the switched-on induction cooker, as this could cause
the cookware to become distorted or the heating coil to become damaged.
• Do not store ammable materials and liquids near or on the induction cooker.
• Avoid hard contact between the cookware or other objects and the crystalite
cooking plate.
• Always place the cookware on the cooking zone during cooking.
Automatic shut-o
The appliance is equipped with automatic shut-o. It switches o automatically in the
following situations:
•
If cookware with a bottom diameter less than 6cm, or small objects like knives, forks,
or spoons are placed on the plate during cooking.
•
If the voltage is lower than 120V or higher than 280V.
•
If no cookware is put on the cooking zone when the induction cooker is working for
1 minute.
•
If the induction cooker has been idle for 2 hours.
•
If the temperature of the central plate is higher than 300°C, or if the internal
temperature of the induction cooker is too high.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic elds (EMF).
If handled properly and according to the instructions in this user manual, the appliance
is safe to use based on scientic evidence available today.

4 Before first use
Remove all packaging materials from the induction cooker.
Preparing for use

Place the appliance on a dry, stable and level surface.

Make sure there is at least 10cm free space around the appliance to prevent overheating.

Always place the cookware on the cooking zone during cooking.

Make sure you use cookware of the correct types and sizes (see the table below).

4 Using the induction cooker
There are three cooking modes: Hot pot ( ), Warm ( ), and Fry ( ).

Follow the steps in “Preparing for use”.

Press the On/O button ( ) to switch on the appliance, and the On/O indicator
lights up.

Press the desired cooking mode button, the corresponding indicator lights up and the
induction cooker starts working in the selected mode.
4
When the cooking is nished, press the On/O button ( ) to switch o the appliance.
5
Unplug the induction cooker after the fan stops working.

Using the timer
You can use the Timer button ( ) to decide how much time you want the appliance to
work at dierent cooking modes.

Follow the steps in “Preparing for use”.

Press the On/O button ( ) to switch on the appliance, and the On/O indicator
lights up.

Press the desired cooking mode button, the corresponding indicator lights up and the
induction cooker starts working in the selected mode.

Press the Timer button once or more times to select the desired cooking time.
5
When the time has elapsed, the induction cooker turns o automatically.
Note
•
After the timer is set, you can press the Timer button ( ) repeatedly until the
timer indicator is o to cancel the timer.
6 Cleaning
Unplug the appliance after the fan stops working and let it cool down.
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth and, if necessary, with some mild cleaning agent.
7 Recycling
Do not throw away the product with the normal household waste at the end of its
life, but hand it in at an ocial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to
preserve the environment.
Follow your country’s rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic
products. Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment
and human health.
8 Guarantee and service
If you need service or information or if you have a problem, please visit the Philips
website at www.philips.com or contact the Philips Consumer Care Centre in your
country (you will nd its phone number in the worldwide guarantee leaet). If there is
no Consumer Care Centre in your country, go to your local Philips dealer.
9 Troubleshooting
If your induction cooker does not function properly or if the cooking quality is
insucient, consult the table below. If you are unable to solve the problem, contact a
Philips service centre or the Consumer Care Centre in your country.
Problem Solution
The On/O button ( )
does not respond.
There is a connection problem. Check if the induction
cooker is connected to the mains and if the plug is
inserted rmly into the wall socket
The appliance beeps
continuously and then
stops working.
You may have put unsuitable cookware on the cooking
plate or you may have removed the cookware from the
cooking plate during cooking. Make sure the cookware
is made of steel, iron or aluminium with stainless steel
cladding base and has a base diameter larger than 12cm.
You may have placed the cookware outside of the
cooking zone.
The cookware does not
heat up to the required
temperature.
The bottom of the cookware may not be at. Use
cookware with a at bottom. If the problem still exists,
take the appliance to your Philips dealer or a service
center authorised by Philips.
The appliance stops
working suddenly.
The temperature of the cookware is too high. Let the
cookware cool down for a while.
The cooking temperature
of the preset modes are too
high or too low.
When the induction cooker is working in one of the
preset modes, you may adjust the cooking temperature
using the Increase ( ) or Decrease ( ) button.
When I press one of the
cooking mode buttons, the
light of the selected mode
does not go on.
The light is defective. Take the appliance to your Philips
dealer or a service centre authorised by Philips.
The fan works but the
appliance has not started
working.
You have to press a cooking mode button after you have
pressed the On/O ( ) button. If you do not press a
cooking mode button within one minute, the induction
cooker will switch o and the fan continues to work for a
while to cool down the appliance.
The 1600W indicator blinks
and the appliance beeps.
The voltage is either too high or too low. Check if the
voltage in your home is suitable for the induction cooker.
The 2000W indicator blinks
and the appliance beeps.
The inner temperature of the appliance is too high. The
appliance will start working again when it cools down.
Problem Solution
The 800W indicator blinks
and the appliance beeps.
IGBT sensor is in open circuit or short circuit state. Take
the appliance to your Philips dealer or a service center
authorised by Philips.
The 1200W indicator blinks
and the appliance beeps.
The main sensor is in open circuit or short circuit state.

The 400W and 1200W
indicators blink at the same

Mati otomatis
Alat ini dilengkapi tur mati otomatis. Fitur ini akan mematikan alat secara otomatis
dalam situasi berikut:

Jika peralatan memasak dengan diameter dasar kurang dari 6 cm, atau benda kecil
seperti pisau, garpu, atau sendok diletakkan di atas pelat selama memasak.
•
Jika voltase kurang dari 120 V atau lebih tinggi dari 280 V.
•
Jika tidak ada peralatan memasak yang diletakkan pada zona memasak saat Kompor
Induksi bekerja selama 1 menit.
•
Jika Kompor Induksi menganggur selama 2 jam.
•
Jika suhu pelat tengah lebih tinggi dari 300°C, atau jika suhu internal Kompor
Induksi terlalu tinggi.

4 Sebelum pemakaian pertama

5 Menggunakan Kompor Induksi
Ada tiga mode memasak: Hot pot ( ), Hangat ( ), dan Goreng ( ).

Ikuti langkah-langkah di “Persiapan penggunaan”.

Tekan tombol On/O ( ) untuk menghidupkan alat. Lampu indikator tombol
tersebut akan menyala.

Tekan tombol mode memasak yang diinginkan, indikator yang sesuai akan menyala
dan Kompor Induksi akan mulai bekerja dengan mode yang dipilih.

Setelah selesai memasak, tekan tombol On/O ( ) untuk mematikan alat.
5
Cabut steker Kompor Induksi setelah kipasnya berhenti bekerja.

•
Selama memasak, Anda dapat mengubah tingkat daya dengan menekan tombol

Menggunakan timer
Anda dapat menggunakan tombol Timer ( ) untuk memutuskan durasi operasi alat
pada berbagai mode memasak.

Tekan tombol On/O ( ) untuk menghidupkan alat. Lampu indikator tombol
tersebut akan menyala.

Tekan tombol mode memasak yang diinginkan, indikator yang sesuai akan menyala
dan Kompor Induksi akan mulai bekerja dengan mode yang dipilih.

Tekan tombol Timer sekali atau beberapa kali untuk memilih durasi memasak yang
diinginkan.

Ketika waktu telah berlalu, Kompor Induksi akan mati secara otomatis.
Catatan
•
Untuk membatalkan timer setelah diatur, Anda dapat menekan tombol Timer ( )
berulang-ulang hingga indikator timer mati.
6 Pembersihan
Cabut steker alat setelah kipas berhenti bekerja dan biarkan dingin.
Bersihkan alat dengan kain lembap dan jika perlu, dengan sedikit bahan pembersih ringan.
7 Daur ulang
Jangan membuang alat bersama limbah rumah tangga biasa jika alat sudah tidak bisa
dipakai lagi, tetapi serahkanlah ke titik pengumpulan resmi untuk didaur ulang. Dengan
melakukan hal ini, Anda ikut membantu melestarikan lingkungan.
Patuhi peraturan mengenai pengumpulan produk-produk elektrik dan elektronik di
negara Anda . Pembuangan produk secara benar akan membantu mencegah dampak
negatif terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan manusia.
8 Garansi dan servis

9 Pemecahan masalah
Jika Kompor Induksi Anda tidak berfungsi dengan benar atau jika kualitas memasak
tidak memadai, perhatikan tabel di bawah ini. Jika Anda tidak dapat mengatasi masalah
tersebut, hubungi pusat layanan Philips atau Pusat Layanan Konsumen di negara Anda.

Anda mungkin meletakkan alat memasak yang tidak
sesuai pada pelat masak atau Anda mungkin melepas
peralatan memasak dari pelat sewaktu memasak.
Pastikan peralatan memasak terbuat dari baja, besi, atau
aluminium dengan dasar berlapis baja antikarat dan
berdiameter lebih dari 12 cm.

Suhu bagian dalam alat terlalu tinggi. Alat akan mulai
bekerja lagi setelah mendingin.
Indikator 800W berkedip
dan alat berbunyi bip.
Sirkuit pada sensor IGBT terbuka atau mengalami
korsleting. Bawalah alat tersebut ke dealer Philips Anda
atau ke pusat layanan resmi Philips.
Indikator 1200W berkedip
dan alat berbunyi bip.
Sirkuit pada sensor utama terbuka atau mengalami
korsleting. Bawalah alat tersebut ke dealer Philips Anda
atau ke pusat layanan resmi Philips.
Indikator 400W dan 1200W
berkedip bersamaan dan
alat berbunyi bip.
Sensor utama mengalami kegagalan fungsi. Bawalah alat
tersebut ke dealer Philips Anda atau ke pusat layanan
resmi Philips.
