Dryer-appliedfabric
softeners or anti-static
conditioners
You may wish to soften your
laundered fabrics or reduce the
static electricity in them. We
recommend you use either a
fabric softener in the wash cycle,
according to the manufacturer's
instructions for those products,
or try a dryer-added product for
which the manufacturer gives
written assurance on the package
that their product can be safely
used in your dryer.

Energy-Saving Tips
Sort clothes by weight so that you
won't have to run an extra cycle for
one or two heavier, slower-drying
items. See page 8.
Do not overload dryer. For
efficient drying, clothes need to
tamable fieely.
Use Amomatic Drying Cycle (on
models so equipped) whenever
possible to help prevent overdying
and save energy.
To help prevent need for ironing,
use Perm Press or Knits Cycle•
Remove garments immediately at
end of drying cycle and place on
hangers.
Dry your clothes in consecmive
loads. Using a "warm" dryer will
save energy.
Clean dryer lint filter each time
you dry.
Clean dryer exhaust ducting at
least once a year. A partially
clogged exhaust can lengthen
drying time.

installing the dryer on top of the
washer or in a rack above the
washer• The dryer may also be
mounted directly on a wall. See
