8. To Use
The Pearl Fertility App has three main screens: Calendar
view, Cycle view, and Measurements view� Calendar view
displays cycle information and the Fertile Window in calendar
format so you have all important information at a glance�
Cycle view shows your current cycle, so you are in control
of current events� Measurements view shows how the tests
are interpreted, so you gain insights every day� Before using
the app, it is important to know which test strips to use each
morning� The test strips need to be exposed to first morning
urine� Instructions for using the test strips are included in a
separate instruction manual�

Wait for your cycle to start. On
the first day of your cycle (the first
day you notice bleeding), tap on the
flower to notify the app that your
period has started� To do this, select
a drop on the Period Input menu; the
app will ask you if this day marks the
beginning of your cycle� Select yes�
The Cycle view will refresh starting
from Day 1�

Start testing when you wake up the next morning.
Starting on Day 2 of your cycle (the day after you first
notice bleeding), the app will tell you which hormone tests
you need to use that day� The symbols on the Cycle View
days indicate which test strip to use (pink for LH and blue
for FSH)� Always use the first urine of the morning and read
the instructions for each test strip�
