Usingtheoven.
Toavoid possible bums, place the shelves in the desired position before you turn the oven on.
The oven has 7 shelf positions.
Before you begin...
The shelves have StOl)-locks, so that when
placed correctly on the shelf suppo_ls (A
through G), they will stop before canting
completely out, and will not tlt.
When placing and removing cookware,
pull the shelf Otlt to the bump on the
shelf support.
Toremove a shell, pull it toward you, tilt
the ti'ont end up and pull it out.
Toreplace, place the end (ff the shelf
(stoi>locEs) on the support, tilt up the
front and push the shelf in.

How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting

Preheat the oven if the recipe calls for it.
Preheating is necessm T for good results
when baking cakes, cookies, past_ T and
breads.

Aluminum Foil
Do not usealuminum foil on the bottom
of the oven.
Never entirely cover a shelf with
almninmn foil. This will dismrl) the heat
circulation and result in poor baking.
A smaller sheet offifil may be used to
catch a spilloxer by placing it on a lower
shelf sexeral inches below the toed.
