7.23 If the machine becomes blocked, you MUST turn the blower OFF and allow to cool
before attempting to clear.
7.24 Use a rake or broom to loosen debris before blowing.
7.25 Remove dust and leaves etc. from the machine after every use.
7.26 DO NOT use chemical, acid, alkaline, grinding paste or other aggressive cleaning
agents.
WARNING
Before cleaning, inspecting or repairing the unit, you MUST make sure that the
engine has stopped and allowed to cool.
You MUST disconnect the spark plug HT lead cap to prevent any accidental starting.
CAUTION
ALWAYS refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and the spark plug HT lead
cap removed.
Whilst carrying out maintenance you MUST wear appropriate Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE). Suggested PPE not limited to, ear protection, eye protection, work
gloves, overalls, sturdy footwear.
NOTE
Spare parts – If a part needs replacing, you MUST only use parts that meet the
manufacturer’s part number specifications.
Replacement parts that DO NOT meet specifications may result in a safety hazard or
poor operation of the machine and will VOID the warranty.
Major servicing including installation of replacement parts, should be made by a
qualified service technician.
