Hold PWR.
TIP: You can set the device to turn on automatically (System Settings, page 22).
Adjusting the Volume
1 Set the squelch level to MIN before you adjust the volume (optional).
2 Select VOL/SQ twice.
VOLUME appears on the screen.
3 Turn the dial to increase or decrease the volume.
