Thread the connector with the
adjuster closest to it though the
Forward-Facing Belt Path
opening.
Pull it across the seat. Then
thread it through the other
Forward-Facing Belt Path
opening.
Do not twist belt.

Make Car Seat Flush
Against Vehicle Seat
Put the child restraint into
Position
1.
Only use the semi-reclined posi-
tion if necessary to install the
child restraint fl ush against the
vehicle seat back.
Vehicle seat back must be
upright.
NOTE: If your vehicle seat has
a headrest that interferes with
achieving a fl ush car seat
fi t , check your vehicle owner’s
manual to see if it can be
removed, adjusted, or if there are
other possible seating locations.
