Before First Use
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there
may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
WARNING: Do not place any part of the product in a dishwasher.
1. Make sure the Fryer is unplugged.
2. To remove any dust that may have accumulated, wash the Fryer Basket with warm
soapy water and dry thoroughly. Wipe the interior and exterior of the Fryer with a
damp towel. Dry thoroughly.
Note: NEVER immerse the fryer body, cord, or plug in water.
Using Your Fryer:
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is
normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.
Note: This is an air fryer that works on hot air. Do not fill the pan with oil or frying fat.
1. Turn the thermostat (1) and the timer (4) to the "OFF" position.
2. Remove the pan (7) and the basket (6) by lifting them from the air fryer by the
handle (9).
3. Place the food in the basket (6).
4. Insert the pan (7) and basket (6) into the air fryer.
WARNING: Never use the pan without the basket in it.
5. Insert the mains plug into a socket that is always easily accessible.
6. Set the thermostat (1) to the desired temperature.
Note: If you want, you can also let the appliance preheat without any ingredients
inside. In that case, turn the timer knob to more than 3 minutes and wait until the
heating-up light goes out (after approx. 3 minutes). Then fill the basket and turn
the timer knob to the required preparation time.
7. Set the timer (4) to the desired time.
8. The air fryer then switches itself on. The power LED (5) lights up in operating
mode. Once the set temperature is reached, the temperature control LED (3) also
lights up.
9. The air fryer switches off automatically upon expiry of the time indicated by the
timer (4). A beep sounds once the timer (4) has reached the "OFF" position. You
can also manually turn the timer (4) back to the "OFF" position to switch off the air
fryer directly.
10. Then remove your food by lifting the pan (7) up by the handle (9).
Note: Some food should be shaken halfway through the cooking time to ensure that it
is cooked evenly. To do so, set the timer (4) to half the cooking time. Thus, a beep
sounds when you need to shake the food. Lift the pan (7) and basket (6) by the handle
(9) from the air fryer and shake the food. Then reinsert the pan (7) and basket (6) into
the air fryer. Once the pan (7) and basket (6) are correctly reinserted, set the timer (4)
to the remaining cooking time to complete the full cooking time.
