1. Press the battery-release buttons; the battery packs will disengage from the latch
and the ejection mechanism will assist with removal.
2. Remove the battery packs from the blower.
POSITIONING THE BACKPACK BLOWER
WARNING:
Dress properly to reduce the risk of injury when operating this
machine. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Wear eye and ear/hearing protection.
Wear heavy, long pants, boots and gloves. Do not wear short pants or sandals or go
barefoot.
Before using the backpack blower, make sure that the operator is wearing eye
protection and proper clothing and can maintain a secure and balanced footing.
To Adjust the Support Harness
1. Put your arms through the backpack
straps to support the blower on your
back.
2. Temporarily adjust both shoulder
straps to comfortable positions
(Fig. 6a), making sure that your elbow
is comfortable.
3. Snap the chest buckle and adjust the
chest strap length if necessary
(Fig. 6b).
