56V-VOLT LITHIUM-ION COMMERCIAL BACKPACK BLOWER — LBPX8000/LBPX8000-FC
20
TO INSTALL/REMOVE BATTERY PACKS
NOTE: Fully charge the battery pack before first use.
NOTE: For best performance, we recommend use of the EGO 56V Battery BA3360T/
BA3360T-FC (6.0 Ah) or any EGO 56V battery with higher capacity.
WARNING:
Always remove the battery pack(s) from the product when you are
assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing the
battery pack(s) will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury.
The blower has two active battery ports, located on the left and right side of the battery
port housing.
NOTE: The blower can operate off of one or two batteries. Using two batteries
gives you a longer run time and efficient power draw managed by PEAK POWER™
technology.
When the battery packs are inserted into
the corresponding battery ports marked
with 1 or 2 on the backpack plate, and the
blower is turned on, the corresponding
battery icon will illuminate on the LCD
screen (Fig. 5a).
To Install Battery Packs (Fig. 5b)
1. Align the ribs of the battery pack
with the mounting slots in the
blower’s battery port.
2. Press the battery pack down until it
snaps into position.
3. Repeat the process to install the
second battery pack.
To Remove Battery Packs
WARNING:
Always take care to
note the location of your feet, children, or
pets when pressing the battery-release button. Serious injury could result if the battery
pack falls. NEVER remove the battery pack when in a high location.
