Ingredients:
½ cup butter (softened)
cup sugar
3 eggs
1½ tsp vanilla extract
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup milk

¾ cup vegetable shortening
1 box (1 lb.) powdered sugar
1 tsp salt
5 to 6 tsp milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Beat ingredients for 3 to 5 minutes on speed 4.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin tins with baking cups.
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set mixture aside.
In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar. Beat until they are pale
yellow and fluffy, then add eggs one at a time until incorporated.
Add vanilla, flour mixture and milk. Beat until just combined.
Fill baking cups two-thirds to three-quarters full.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes.
