TWO YEAR LiMiTED WARRANTY
The limited warrantysetforth belowis given by MTD LLCwithrespect to new merchandisepurchasedandused inthe United
Statesand/or its territoriesand possessions, and by MTDProducts Limitedwithrespect to newmerchandise purchasedand
usedin Canadaand/or itsterritories and possessions (eitherentity respectively,"MTD").
MTDwarrantsthis product (excluding its normalwear parts as described below)against defects in materialand workman-
shipfor a periodof two (2) yearscommencing on the date oforiginal purchase andwill,at its option, repairor replace, free
ofcharge, any partfound to be defective in materialsor workmanship.This limited warrantyshall onlyapply if thisproduct
has beenoperatedand maintained inaccordance with the Operator's Manualfurnished with the product,and hasnot been
subjectto misuse,abuse, commercialuse,neglect, accident, impropermaintenance,alteration, vandalism,theft, fire, water,
or damage because ofother perilor naturaldisaster. Damageresulting from the installationor use of anypart, accessory
or attachmentnot approved by MTD for use withthe product(s) coveredbythis manualwill voidyourwarranty asto any
resulting damage.
Normalwear partsare warrantedto befree from defects in materialand workmanship fora period of thirty (30)days from the
dateof purchase. Normalwearparts include, but are notlimited to items such as: batteries,belts, blades,blade adapters,
grass bags,rider deck wheels,seats, snowthrowerskid shoes,friction wheels, shave plates,augerspiral rubber andtires.

This limited warrantydoes not provide coverageinthe following cases:
a. The engineor component parts thereof.These items maycarry a separate manufacturer'swarranty. Refertoapplicable
manufacturer'swarrantyfor terms and conditions.
b. Logsplitter pumps, valves,and cylinders havea separate one-yearwarranty.
c. Routinemaintenance itemssuch as lubricants,filters, bladesharpening,tune-ups, brakeadjustments,clutch adjust-
ments,deck adjustments,and normal deteriorationof the exteriorfinish due to use or exposure.
d. Service completedby someoneother than an authorizedservice dealer.
e. MTDdoesnot extend any warrantyfor productssold or exportedoutside ofthe United Statesand/or Canada, andtheir
respectivepossessions andterritories,except thosesold through MTD'sauthorized channels of export distribution.
f. Replacement partsthat arenot genuine MTD parts.
g. Transportationchargesandservice calls.
h. If Productsareused commercially. (MTD mayseparatelyoffer LimitedCommercialWarrantieson certain select
products. Askyourdealer or retailer for details orcontact MTD Service for more information.)
No impliedwarranty, including any impliedwarranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose, ap-
plies after the applicable periodof express written warranty above as to the parts as identified. No other express
warranty, whetherwritten or oral, except as mentioned above, given by any personor entity, including adealer or
retailer, with respect to any product, shall bind IVITD.Duringthe period of the warranty,the exclusive remedy is
repair or replacement of the productas set forth above,
The provisionsas set forth in this warranty providethe sole and exclusive remedy arising from the sale. MTD shall
not be liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage including,without limitation, expenses incurred for
substitute or replacement lawn care services or for rental expenses to temporarily replace a warranted product,
Somejurisdictions do notallow the exclusionor limitationof incidental or consequentialdamages,or limitationson how long
an impliedwarranty lasts,so theabove exclusions or limitations maynot applyto you.
In noevent shall recoveryof any kind begreaterthan the amountof the purchase price of the product sold.Alteration of
safety features of the productshall void this warranty. Youassume the risk andliability for loss, damage, or injury to you
andyour property and/or to others andtheir property arising out of the misuse or inability to usethe product.
This limited warrantyshall not extend toanyone other than the original purchaserortothe personfor whom it waspurchased
asa gift.
