speed.
3.Pressthe INCREASE+/DECREASE- padsto set
the desiredtemperature60°Fto 85°Fin I°F
increments.

andtheLOW,MEDorHIGHindicatorlightis litfor the
desiredfan speed.

Athermostatisusedto maintainthe roomtemperature.
Thecompressorwill cycleon andoffto keepthe room
at the setlevelof comfort.Setthe thermostatat a lower
numberandthe indoorairwill becomecooler.
Setthethermostatat a highernumberandthe indoorair
will becomewarmer.
NOTE:if the air conditionerisoff and isthenturnedon
whileset to COOL,it will takeapproximately3 minutes
for the compressorto start andcoolingto begin.
Cooling Descriptions
For NormalCooling-Selectthe COOLmodeandHIGH
or MEDfan witha middlesettemperature.
For MaximumCooling-SelecttheCOOLmode
and HIGHfan witha lowerset temperature.
For Quieterand NighttimeCooling-Selectthe COOL
modeand LOWfanwith a middleset temperature.
NOTE:Ifyou switch from a COOLsetting to OFFor to
a fan setting, wait at least3minutesbeforeswitching
backto a COOLsetting.
FAN MODE
Usethe FANmodeto provideair circulationandfiltering
without cooling.Sincefan-only settingsdo not provide
cooling,a temperaturesettingwill not bedisplayed.
