The Agitator Cap or Fabric Softener Dispenser (depending on model)
Theagitator cap fits into the top of the
agitator. If it accidentally comes off,
simply put it back on.
Thefabric softener dispenser automatically
releasesliquid fabric softener at the proper
time during the cycle.
Do not stop thewasher during thefirst spin.
This will causethedispenser to empty
tOO soon.
I'_1 Add water to dispenseruntil it reaches
the maximum fill line.
To use, follow these steps:
I_-I Hake suredispenser issecurely attached
to agitator.
r21 useonly liquid fabric softener.
Pourinto dispenser,usingamount
recommended on package.
Never pour fabric softener directly on
clothes.It mag stain them.
Do not pour angthing into the
agitator if the agitator cap or
dispenser is removed.

Cleaning the Fabric Softener Dispenser (onsomemodels)
I]-I Removethe dispenserfrom the top of the agitator.
r21 Separatethe dispensercup from the cover by grasping the top and pushing down on the
insideof the cup with your fingers.Dispensercup will pop free from the cover.
r_To cleanthe dispenser,soak both the dispenser cup and the dispensercover in the
following solution:
• J USgallon (3.8liters)warm water
• J/4 cup(60ml)heavg-dutg liquiddetergent
• J cup (240ml)bleach
I_-IIf necessary,loosen buildup with a clean, soft cloth after soaking.Do not usea stiff brush;
you may roughen the surface of the dispenser.
r_l Rinseand reassembledispenser.Placedispenser back on the agitator.
Liquid Bleach Funnel
Thewater fill dilutes liquid chlorine bleach asthe washer fills for the wash cycle.
[] Checkclothing care labelsfor special instructions.
r21 Measureliquid bleach carefully, following instructions on the bottle.
• Never pour undiluted liquid chlorine bleach directly onto clothes or into the wash basket.
• Do not pour powdered bleach into bleach funnel.
r_ Before starting the washer, pour measured amount of bleach directly into bleach funnel.
Avoidsplashing or over-filling dispenser. Ifyou prefer to use powdered bleach, add it into
the wash basket with your detergent.
• Do not mix chlorine bleach with ammonia or acids such as vinegar and/or rust remover.
Mixing con produce a toxic gas which mag cause death.
