OPERATION
WARNING:

Keep water discharge pointed away from all electrical
devices to reduce the risk of electrocution or electric
shock.
WARNING:
Ensure all hose connections are secure before using the
pump Spilled water and leaks can result in a slippery
surface and create a slip and fall hazard.
WARNING:
Do not use any attachments or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer of this product. The
use of attachments or accessories not recommended
can result in serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Always remove battery pack from your product when
you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning,
or when not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent
accidental starting that could cause serious personal
injury.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this tool for the purpose listed below:
Drain or remove water from flooded areas, clogged sinks,
water basins, etc.
Pump water from rain barrels to water plants and gardens
Drain water from hot tubs and swimming pools
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figures 4 - 5.
Make sure the pump is turned off.
Open the battery cover by releasing the latch and opening
the cover.
Insert the battery pack into the product as shown.
Make sure the latch on the side of the battery pack snaps
into place and the battery pack is secured in the product
before beginning operation.

INSTALL OUTLET ATTACHMENTS
See Figure 2.
The pump comes with three outlet adaptors- a Y-split adap-
tor, a barbed adaptor and a corrugated hose adaptor. The
Y-split adaptor can be used with one or two standard garden
hoses. The barbed adaptor is provided for use with a hose
clamp and precut hose. The corrugated hose adaptor is for
use with the included 1.5 in. corrugated discharge hose.
Choose the outlet adaptor best suited for your project.
Insert the adaptor into the water outlet on the pump and
hand tighten to secure. Do not overtighten.
Attach a discharge hose or standard garden hose (not
included) to the adaptor.
NOTE: Additional standard 1.5 in. corrugated pool hose
sections can be added to extend the discharge length.
INSTALL FILTERS
See Figure 3.
The pump comes with two filters - a debris filter and a mud
filter. The debris filter filters out smaller particles such as
grass and dirt. The mud filter is suitable for muddy environ-
ments or uneven terrain.
Determine which filter is needed for your application. Do
not use both filters at the same time.
Align the tabs on the filter with the slots on the pump
base.
Slide the pump body onto the filter until it clicks into place.
To remove the filter, gently depress the tabs on the filter.
NOTE: When installing the filter, avoid twisting the pole
or bottom pump housing which could result in binding
the cable inside.
