IMPORTANT
ENSURE BLADE DOES NOT TURN WHEN LEVER IS IN
TOP NOTCH DISENGAGED BY SLOWLY PULLING
ENGINE RECOIL AND OBSERVING THAT THE BLADE
DOES NOT ROTATE.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Attach handlebars and dash panel with six M6x20 bolts.
SEE FIGURE 1.
2. Attach tool holder, tool holder strap and adjustment handle(s)
with three M8x25 bolts and one M8x30 bolt. SEE FIGURE 2.
3. Add oil to unit. REFER TO ENGINE MANUAL.
4. Align cutting head assembly and insert pivot rod as shown
in FIGURE 3.
5. Connect engine belt to front pulley of cutting assembly.
6. Attach S-bracket to assembly/pivot rod location using cotter
key and M8x25 bolt. SEE FIGURE 3.
7. Place height adjustment lever into top position.
8. Attach control rod to height adjustment handle and cutting
head assembly with cotter keys. SEE FIGURE 4.
9. Attach wheels. SEE FIGURE 5.

UNPACKING
1. Set aside the operator’s manual and parts bag. Carefully lift
the top foam out of the box, remove all loose parts from both
the top and bottom foam packaging.
