To descale your carafe, fill a carafe full of water, add a small amount of white vinegar,
and boil. Unplug the carafe and allow the solution to sit for an hour. For darker stains
leave overnight. This will remove most deposits that have built up from normal use.
Rinse out solution, add fresh water, and run again. Allow to cool, follow with thorough
cleaning, and dry before next use.
