Editing a Key Operation within an Expression
With the insert mode, use
d
and
e
to move the cursor to the right of the key operation
you want to edit, press
D
to delete it, and then perform the correct key operation. With the
overwrite mode, move the cursor to the key operation you want to correct and then perform
the correct key operation.

Inserting Key Operations into an Expression
Be sure to select the insert mode whenever you want to insert key operations into an
expression. Use
d
and
e
to move the cursor to the location where you want to insert
the key operations, and then perform them.

Finding the Location of an Error
If your calculation expression is incorrect, an error message will appear on the display when
you press
w
to execute it. After an error message appears, press the
d
or
e
key
and the cursor will jump to the location in your calculation that caused the error so you can
correct it.
Example: When you input 14 ÷ 0 × 2 = instead of 14 ÷ 10 × 2 =
(The following examples use the insert mode.)
